Adventure awaits at the Alpine Apartment. This above garage apartment is minutes aways from a myriad of adventures. After a day biking on the local trails, take a dip in the lake, just a 5 min walk from the apt. Pack a picnic & enjoy some sunny afternoon paddle boarding, fishing, and canoeing.

10 min drive to The Round Barn, Lareau Farm, Sugarbush Resort, and Skinner Barn.

45 min to Green Mountain National Golf Course & Killington Resort.

One bedroom with queen size bed, closet, and custom built in drawers & cabinets. Bathroom with shower, vanity, and storage closet. Full kitchen, refrigerator/freezer, oven, stovetop, microwave, toaster oven, kettle and kitchen bar with 2 stools, and plenty of built in storage. Living room with full sized pull out sofa bed and smart TV.

Fire pit, garden, lounge chairs in yard, large second story deck with grill and outdoor dining table.

This was my father’s property that we spent my youth visiting for ski vacations & summer days at the lake. I loved Vermont so much I moved here after finishing High School and never left! It has been a family effort to revitalize the property, tend the gardens (which were my first gardens 20 years ago!), and to finish the projects my father started. There is a lot of love put into every inch of this place inside and out. The daughter of a landscaper and woodworker, I have a great appreciation for fine craftsmanship and put my all into every detail.

It warms my heart to get to open this space for others to visit and create their own new memories!

Policies

The Alpine Apartment is equipt with smart locks. You will be sent a personalized code 24 hours prior to check in.
The apartment is above the garage so there is a set of steps to access it.

Summer: Enter directly into the apartment from the deck. Park in front of the "Reserved Parking" sign and access the steps by walking on the right side of the building, through the garden (between the shed and the building) to the steps in the back. Open the storm door at the top of the stairs and enter code in smartlock. (press any button to activate, enter code, press unlock button). No garage access in the summer.

Winter: In winter the entrance is through the garage, door is on the far right side of building near the little red shed. You will find a smart lock on the door (press any button to activate, enter code, press unlock button), walk through garage bay 1 and enter second door (be sure to close behind you as this area is heated, the light will be on for you). Here you will find a "mudroom" area and the door to the upstairs apartment. The garage is not meant for guest use, just an entrance.

House Rules
We LOVE our Alpine Apartment and hope you do too! Please treat it with love and respect. In order to create a safe and welcoming environment for our guests (and neighbors) we put together these house rules:

Quiet Hours: 10pm - 9am
No smoking or open flames (including candles).
No parties or unapproved events.
No pets inside or outside.
Relax and have a lovely visit!

Area Wildlife and Cautions
The apartment is in a wilderness area and the wildlife includes fisher cats (a vicious member of the weasel family), fox, coyote, bear, moose, and other animals. If approached, some of the wildlife will run from you (such as a deer) and some wildlife will run toward you (like a moose). Some wildlife is edible (like a turkey, but don’t kill any of our wildlife). And some wildlife may eat you (like a bear). Renter acknowledges these distinct differences. Do not approach any wildlife. Keep trash in designated receptacles. Lock car and house doors when not in use—bears can open doors.

Cancellation Policy
• 100% refund for cancellations made within 24 hours of booking.
• 50% refund for cancellations made at least 30 days before check-in.
• 0% refund for cancellations made within 30 days of check-in
Notes
This apartment is across the road from the Kismet Cabin. A great opportunity to rent both places for multigenerational families, wedding parties, and friends while maintaining privacy. There is only one other property on the end of road and it is currently unoccupied.
